| The Field Tract Campground is in a mixed forest of fir, oak, and pine near the Pecos River, where there are Rainbow and Brown Trout. Supplies are available in Pecos. Deer, bears, mountain lions, elk, turkeys, bobcats, and birds are common to the area. Firewood may be gathered locally. There are no designated trails in the area. Private land surrounds this campground. There are 14 sites with a maximum spur length of 22 feet, open from May to October, at an elevation of 7,400 feet. This campground has a host. |
