A popular year-round retreat surrounded by ponderosa pine forests, Fenton Lake is a 35 acre fishing and canoeing lake. A popular fishing hole for New Mexico residents with wheelchair accessible platforms.
Fenton Lake is closed to sailboats, sailboards and all powerboats (including those with electric trolling motors) but open to canoes, rowboats, and inflatable boats. The park has only one trail, the Hal Baxter Memorial Cross-Country Ski Trail and Biathlon Practice Area.
