Dipping Vat Campground is located adjacent to the west side of Snow Lake. Snow Lake is approximately 52 miles southeast of Reserve, New Mexico. The campground offers a variety of activities to the visitor, including fishing, overnight camping, and hiking.
Dipping Vat has a potable water system including a well with a pump. Snow Lake is stocked with trout three times a year, early Spring, early Summer, and late Fall.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, grills, and fire rings are provided at Dipping Vat Campground. Drinking water is turned on Mid-April and shut off Late-November.

Best Time To Visit: Dipping Vat Campground is typically open April through November.

Fees: There is a fee for camping at this campground.

Rules: This campground is located within the Gila National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to Dipping Vat Campground from Lordsburg travel north on NM State Highway 90, turn right on US-180, travel to Reserve. Dipping Vat Campground is located 52 miles SE of Reserve via Forest Road 141, Service Road 28 and Forest Road 142.
