Canyon Creek Campground is a small campground with 3 tent sites near the Wise River in the Pioneer Mountains.

The Pioneer Mountains are home to a wide variety of wildlife. There are a variety of trails in this area as well, they range from easy to difficult to hike.

RVs are allowed but there is a 18 feet limit, but there are 3 tent sites and they operate on a first-come first serve basis.

While enjoying the great outdoors remember to keep the wilderness wild by cleaning up after yourself. It is very important that we keep our National Forests clean because they are some of the last places in the world where nature has a home. National Forests are a place where animals live, trees grow, and people enjoy themselves. Remember to that anything you bring into the Forest needs to be taken back out. Pack it in, pack it out!

Facilities: Canyon Creek Campground has vault toilets but no running or drinking water.

Best Time To Visit: Canyon Creek Campground is best to visit from the early spring to late summer.

Directions: To get to Canyon Creek Campground from Dillon, take I-15 north toward Butte. Take exit 93 toward Melrose. Turn left at Frontage Road. Continue onto I-15 Frontage road. Continue onto Frontage road. Continue onto Trapper Creek road. Turn right to stay on Trapper Creek road. Continue onto Canyon Creek Rd. Turn left to stay on Canyon Creek Rd. Destination will be on the left.

To reach Canyon Creek Campground from Butte, merge onto I-15 south/I-90 west via the ramp to I-115. Continue to follow I-15 south. Take exit 99 for Moose Circle Road. Turn right at Moose Circle Road. Turn right at I-15 Frontage Road. Turn left. Turn right toward Lower Canyon Creek. Slight left at Lower Canyon Creek. Turn right toward Forest road 187. Continue straight onto Forest road 187. Continue straight onto Canyon Creek Road destination will be on the left.
