EatStayPlay, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on EatStayPlay.com. EatStayPlay.com collects information at several different points on our Web site.

EatStayPlay.com uses the User's information to collect user demographics at the state level. EatStayPlay.com also uses User information to inform the Users by email about state-based retrieve lost logins and passwords, etc.

The user creates his or her own profile. This information includes, but is not limited to: membership information including log in, password, state of residence, and any additional information collected from the new member registration, etc.

EatStayPlay.com does not record users' viewing habits in our profile or elsewhere. We do not share your profile with other third parties.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use session ID cookies, also called session variables. The cooking terminates when the user closes the browser.

Like most standard Web site servers EatStayPlay.com uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Established members will occasionally receive information from EatStayPlay.com. Out of respect for the privacy of our Users, we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the "Choice/Opt-out" sections.

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, users may receive an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can de-activate their account. These communications are not promotional in nature.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Our site requests information from users via contests. Participation in these contests is completely voluntary therefore; the user has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information and user information such as name, and username. Shipping address information may be collected in the event that a user wins a contest. Contact information may be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Users' personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties.

When a User submits an item as an Event, they become the Event Submitter. The Event Submitter is a registered User of EatStayPlay.com. EatStayPlay.com requires the Event Submitter to also submit personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, name, address, and telephone number. EatStayPlay.com uses this information to contact the Event Submitter.

When the Event Submitter submits the Event, he or she has the option of opting out of our reminder policy. If an Event Submitter opts out, their personally identifiable information will be deleted after the date of the conclusion of their submitted Event. If the Event Submitter opts in, EatStayPlay.com will use this information to contact the Event Submitter the next time the Event occurs, to remind the Event Submitter to renew their Event listing.

EatStayPlay.com uses this information to contact the Event Submitter to verify the event details.

As always, EatStayPlay.com does not share or sell this information to anyone for any reason.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. Members are not asked to provide sensitive information. When users submit information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line. All of our users' information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job, (for example, contest submission editors, the contest awards department, or Show and Tell editors) are granted access to personally identifiable information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users' information is protected.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, and other places we deem appropriate, so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
