Twin Falls, the county seat of Twin Falls County, is located in South Central Idaho, midway between Boise and Pocatello, about two hours from each. Twin Falls sits at a high-desert elevation of 3,745 feet above sea level, with the Snake River Canyon at the north edge and distant mountains rimming the horizons in most directions.

Twin Falls provides a great jumping off place to visit Niagara Springs State Park, which is know for the water tumbling down the canyon side at 250 cubic feet per second. The springs are a National Natural Landmark and part of the well known Thousand Springs Complex along the Snake River.
Twin Falls also provides easy access to the Sawtooth National Forest, the Shoshone Lava Beds, and Malad State Park where visitors can visitors can see stunning views of the gorge.
