The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is made up of two separate forests. Together these forests occupy over 3 million acres and stretches across southeastern Idaho, from the Montana, Utah, and Wyoming borders. Popular activities here include camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, horse and mountain biking riding, hunting, fishing, and bird watching. There are also vast opportunities for winter and water related recreation.

Mesa Falls - Snow Mobiling
Platforms, campgrounds, and overlooks are popular ways to view these two waterfalls. Roads are closed in the winter, and groomed for snowmobiling and nordic skiing. Guided tours are available upon request. Facilities are provided.
