Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge - Wildlife Viewing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This refuge provides diverse habitats that consist primarily of wetlands with associated uplands, and hardwood/conifer forests. Although the purpose of the refuge is to provide migration habitat for thousands of waterfowl, more than 300 species of vertebrates, including nesting bald eagles, use the refuge for migration and breeding. Facilities are provided.

Priest Lake State Park - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In State Parks
This park offers an abundance of scenery and recreational opportunities. Camping is available in this park that is 2,400 feet above sea level. Priest Lake extends 19 miles and is connected to the smaller Upper Priest Lake.

Round Lake State Park - Wildlife Viewing In State Parks
The lake is 58 acres and dates back to one million years ago. There is a two mile hike available for visitors. A varied collection of wildlife and plant life exist in the state park. Developed campgrounds are available.
