Clearwater National Forest - Wildlife Viewing In National Forests
The Clearwater National Forest is nestled on the west side of the Bitterroot Mountains in north central Idaho. Recreational activities within the forest include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hunting, and wildlife viewing.

Fields Spring State Park - Mammals
The park is a 792-acre forested camping park remotely located in the Blue Mountains of Southeastern Washington. A portion of the park sits at a height of 4,500 feet atop Puffer Butte and offers a spectacular view of three states and the Grande Ronde River. Fields Spring is popular with skiers and sledders from Lewiston, Idaho. The park has great views of the rounded hills at the north end of the Blue Mountains and opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Nezperce National Historical Park - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Parks
For thousands of years, the people, the Nimiipuu, or Nezperce have lived in the area minimally covered by Nezperce National Historical Park. The park was established as a unit of the national park system on May 15, 1965 and was added to in 1992 to incorporate 38 sites in the states of Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Montana.
