Caribou-Targhee National Forest
The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is made up of two separate forests. Together these forests occupy over 3 million acres and stretches across southeastern Idaho, from the Montana, Utah, and Wyoming borders. Popular activities here include camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, horse and mountain biking riding, hunting, fishing, and bird watching. There are also vast opportunities for winter and water related recreation.

Wasatch-Cache National Forest
Recreational opportunities on the Wasatch-Cache National Forest includes developed and primitive camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV travel, fishing, and picnicking.
