Fort Hall Replica and Bannock County Historical Museum - Local
This museum was completed in 1834, and stood as the only American outpost in the country. However, it was sold to Hudson's Bay Company a few years later. The British took over the fort eventually.

Idaho Museum of Natural History - Natural History
The mission of the museum is to acquire, preserve, study, interpret and display objects relating to the natural history of Idaho and the Northern Intermountain West for research and education. Information is disseminated through exhibitions, public and professional presentations, publications, formal and informal education, telecommunications and other interpretive programs.

Shoshone Bannock Tribal Museum - Local
This museum exhibits old photographs and displays that give visitors a chance to learn about the Shoshone-Bannock people, and how they lived and settled the area around eastern Idaho. The museum also carries a line of authentic arts and crafts made by Tribal members. Visitors can also learn about other North American Indian Tribes.

South Bannock County Historical Museum - Local
The museum offers both permanent and rotating exhibits about the history of the Lava Hot Springs area and the communities of Arimo, Inkom, Downey, McCammon, Virginia and Swan Lake.
