Lakes & Reservoirs

American Falls Reservoir
This reservoir stretches across 56,000 acres. It is the larges reservoir on the Snake River. There are boating facilities available.

Blackfoot Reservoir
The reservoir is a good source for fishing. It covers 18,000 acres when full. This makes it second in size of reservoirs, and is only smaller than the American Falls.

Chesterfield Reservoir
This reservoir is a popular spot for weekend camping and fishing trips. It has long been a great place to catch sizable hatchery-bred rainbow trout. Fish exhibit good growth rates at Chesterfield and anglers in boats on this 1600 acre (when full) reservoir usually have little trouble catching rainbows.

Condie Reservoir
This reservoir contains large mouth bass that can grow over 20 inches long. It has maintained these fish since 1990. Boating facilities are available for visitors.

Daniel's Reservoir
This reservoir is 375-acres and located outside of Malad City. Visitors are able to fish, but a two-trout, 20" minimum size limit was established to replenish the fish population in 1990. Parking and docks are available.

Glendale Reservoir
This reservoir is best suited for boat anglers. It has the highest bass catch rate in the region. All bass that are less than 16 inches long must be released. Some facilities are available in the area.
