Cocolalla Lake - Lakes & Reservoirs
This lake is a year-round fishery fed by the Cocolalla Creek. It has an average depth of 26 feet. Different species of fish thrive in the lake. Shore fishing is limited to the northeast and east shoreline due to private ownership.

Farragut State Park - Fishing In State Parks
This park is located in the Bitterroot Range. It is open all four seasons of the year, and provides visitors with a view of the mountains, forests, and wildlife. Lake Pend Oreille is located within the park.

Heyburn State Park - Fishing In State Parks
The lakes provided by this park provide an abundance of fish, the marsh areas have plentiful water flow, and the heavily timbered slopes and open meadows are ideal habitat for deer, bear and upland birds. Handicap access is available throughout the park.

The Idaho Fish and Game provides all the information needed to hunt and fish in the state of Idaho.

Idaho Panhandle National Forests - Fishing In National Forests
Idaho Panhandle National Forest comprise about 2.5 million acres of public lands which lie within "the panhandle" of northern Idaho and extend into eastern Washington and western Montana. Recreational opportunities within the Idaho Panhandle National Forest includes camping, picnicking, fishing, mountain biking, ATV riding, hunting, hiking, and horseback riding.

Shadow Falls and Fern Falls - Rivers & Streams
These falls can both be found by walking a short distance on the Yellow Dog Creek trail. Both of the falls are at their best in spring and summer. Facilities are not provided.

St. Joe River - Rivers & Streams
This river is used for multiple recreational activities. Whitewater rafting is popular on the river. Fishing has been popular among visitors as well as kayaking. The rapids are appropriate for all skill levels. Some facilities are provided.

St. Maries River - Rivers & Streams
This river is a good run for rafting and kayaking. The whitewater is gentle and the surrounding forests provide exceptional scenery. Wildlife viewing, fishing, and boating are popular on this overlooked river. Boating facilities are provided.

Upper Coeur D'Alene River - Rivers & Streams
This river is located north of Kellogg. It has easy whitewater for beginner rafters and good access. There are recreational activities for the visitors to participate in. These activities include kayaking, fishing, rafting, camping, and wildlife viewing. No facilities are provided.
