Avery Creek Picnic Area
Avery Creek Picnic Area is in a wooded area near the Coeur d'Alene River. It is a day use only with 5 picnic sites.

Cherry Bend Boaters Park
Cherry Bend is a nice picnic spot along the St. Joe River popular for St. Maries community events, too. River activities are popular here. This park is great for families.

Coeur d'Alene City Park & Beach
The park offers a multitude of things to do for families and groups including Sunday concerts (summer), family and group picnic facilities, swim beach, volleyball, basketball courts, tour boats, seaplane rides and other aquatic equipment.

Coeur D'Alene Lake
The lake stretches one half-mile of public shoreline. Also available are an exercise course, roadside picnic tables, restroom facilities and benches for those who wish to stop and just enjoy the lake view

Coeur D'Alene Parkway
Coeur D'Alene Parkway lies along the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene following the North Idaho Centennial Trail east from Coeur d'Alene to Higgens Point.

Devil Peak Trail #56
This trail is not simply for hiking. This trail has been used as a horse trail throughout time. It provides hikers with a scenic route for miles on end.

Idaho Panhandle National Forests
Idaho Panhandle National Forest comprise about 2.5 million acres of public lands which lie within "the panhandle" of northern Idaho and extend into eastern Washington and western Montana. Recreational opportunities within the Idaho Panhandle National Forest includes camping, picnicking, fishing, mountain biking, ATV riding, hunting, hiking, and horseback riding.

Magee Historic Site
This picnic area is in a wooded locale near a historic ranger station. There are three picnic sites.

Marble Creek Historical Site Picnic Area
Marble Creek Historical Site Picnic Area is historic for a reason. There are old steam donkeys from the early 1900's left in the Marble Creek. Facilities are available.

Mullan Road Historic Site
This area is in a wooded locale and activities in the area change with the seasons.

Qemlin Riverside Park and Trials
This Park is located on the south bank of the Spokane River with a sandy beach, boat launch, and group picnic facilities. This is an excellent place to view wildlife and have a picnic. This Park is for everyone.

Shoshone Park
This area is in a wooded locale with ample picnic accommodations.

Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes State Park
The park has a 73 mile stretch of asphalt to accommodate bikers and in-line skaters. It almost spans across the entire pan handle of Idaho. To provide visitors with a decent view the trail runs along rivers, beside lakes, and through Idaho's Silver Valley.

Upper Landing Picnic Area
This area overlooks the gateway to Saint Joe Wild & Scenic River. Fishing is available from the banks of the river. Facilities are provided.
