| | Boise National Forest | | Boise National Forest consists of about 2,612,000 acres of National Forest System Lands. It offers a wide variety of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. Visitors can hike, ride horseback, or motorbike on over 850 miles of trails. Over 7,600 miles of streams and more than 250 lakes are reservoirs offer excellent water sports activities including rafting, kayaking, sailing, and water skiing. There are over 70 campgrounds and picnic areas within the forest. | |

| | Payette National Forest | | The Payette National Forest spans over 2.3 million acres of some of west-central Idaho's most beautiful and diverse country. Spring through Fall the Payette National Forest provides fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, camping, picnicking, pleasure driving, sightseeing, horseback riding, off highway vehicle driving, nature study, and forest product gathering. Heavy winter snow pack is popular for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snow play. Two downhill ski areas are located on the Payette National Forest. | |

| | Sawtooth National Forest | | Sawtooth National Forest comprises more that 2.1 million acres of public land, most of it in south-central Idaho, with one unit in northern Utah. Hunters come here for deer, elk, antelope, mountain goat, bear, and mountain lion. Sightseers, bird watchers, hikers, horse riders, and trail and mountain bikers add to recreational traffic on the Sawtooth National Forest. | |

| | Arrowrock Reservoir | | Rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, small mouth bass and bull trout are common species in the reservoir. | |

| | Black Canyon Reservoir | | This reservoir extends across 1,100-acres. Twelve miles of shoreline are available to visitors as well. Boating and fishing are the major recreation activities within the reservoir. | |

| | Brownlee, Oxbow, and Hells Canyon Reservoirs | | The Snake River flows for 70 miles through these three reservoirs before dropping into Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in North America. Boating, camping and fishing are the popular activities. Jet boat and rafting trips are available on the Snake River from Hells Canyon Dam. | |

| | Bull Trout and Martin Lakes | | These lakes have vegetated shores and brook trout, kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, atlantic salmon and the threatened bull trout in them. | |

| | C.J. Strike Reservoir | | This reservoir is a great fishery for both warm water and cold water species. It is popular for boaters because launching facilities remain open throughout the year. Hiking is available in the surrounding area of the reservoir. | |

| | Deadwood Reservoir | | This reservoir has forested shores and has kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, chinook salmon, cutthroat trout, atlantic salmon, and the threatened bull trout in it. | |

| | Jennie Lake | | This lake has grassy banks and the fish in it are rainbow trout, arctic grayling, and the threatened bull trout. | |

| | Lucky Peak Reservoir | | This reservoir has grassy open shores and has rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and the threatened bull trout. | |

| | Williams Lake | | This lake was formed approximately 6,000 years ago when a landslide, probably triggered by an earthquake, blocked Lake Creek. From 1941 until 1983 the Idaho Department of Fish and Game stocked the lake with rainbow trout. Today the productive waters of Williams lake yield wild rainbow trout up to two pounds. | |

| | Boise River - Middle Fork | | The river offers activities such as camping, fishing, and relaxing in the hot springs. This portion of the Boise River stretches for 60 miles to the mining-era town of Atlanta. Endangered fish that are caught must be released. Facilities are provided. | |

| | Boise River - North Fork | | This portion of the Boise River is known for its rock gardens and scenery. Fishing is popular, but there are endangered species of fish that must be released after being caught. Camping is available, and guard stations at Barber Flat and Deer Park are also available for rent. | |

| | Clear Creek | | This creek has rocky vegetated banks and rainbow trout and the threatened bull trout in it. | |

| | Crooked River | | This river is in a forested area and has rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brook trout, and bull trout in it. | |

| | Mores Creek | | This creek has rocky and vegetated banks, and Rainbow Trout in it. | |

| | Silver Creek | | This creek has sandy and grassy banks, and has Rainbow and Brook Trout in it. | |

| | Snake River | | The river stretches 60 miles to it's confluence with the Henrys Fork. This large river offers its visitors a wide variety of recreation. It includes fishing, boating, camping, sightseeing, picnicking, wildlife watching and biking. Facilities are available. | |

| | Squaw Creek | | This creek has vegetated banks and is the home to Rainbow Trout and the threatened Bull Trout. | |
