| The mission of the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology is to access, develop, maintain exhibits, and collections pertaining to mining and geology in Idaho. Also, to use its contents to further understanding and to promote public education of mining, geology and the related earth sciences. The museum extends knowledge about Idaho's history of mining and geology by viewing historical photographs and artifacts from early Idaho mining days. The museum offers outreach activities, exhibits, and educational programs covering Idaho's geologic history and mining heritage. Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology is a non-profit, donation-supported, all-volunteer organization. |
