Directions: Crooked River is a tributary of the North Fork Boise River. It is accessible by vehicle and trail. Visitors get to the Crooked River trailhead by taking Highway 21, 18 miles east from Idaho City over Mores Creek Summit and turning south onto the Atlanta Road at the Edna Creek Campground. Upper portions of Crooked River can be accessed by Forest Roads 328 and 348.
