Wood River Campground is divided by the Big Wood River. It is set in a dense forest. Self-guided nature trail and other trails in the canyon lead to Amber Lakes. There is an amphitheater and group picnic areas that will hold a maximum of 150 people. Firewood can be bought on the site, and a dump station is near by. There are a total of 30 campsites with a maximum spur of 20 feet.

Facilities: Wood River Campground provides a dump station, restrooms, and drinking water.

Reservations: Wood River Campground does not accept reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Wood River Campground is open May - September.

Fees: A campsite fee is charged.

Accessibility: Handicap accessibility is provided.

Rules: There is a 14 day maximum stay.

Directions: To reach Wood River Campground from Hailey start out going northwest on Picaro Street toward Bullion Street for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Bullion Street for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Main Street. Continue to follow ID-75 for 11.7 miles. Turn right onto 2nd Street East for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Leadville Avenue North. From Ketchum go northwest on State Highway 75 to Wood River Campground for 10.0 miles.
