Whitewater Campground is located among the lodgepole pine trees on the Salmon River. Fishing is available on the river. This campground is the home to wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, bears, and wolves in the area. Hunting is allowed when in season.
Supplies are available 42 miles outside of the campground in Elk City. This campground tends to be very popular place to be in September for hunters. There are 2 single sites available at the campground.
