Trail Creek Campground is located in Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pine overlooking the Middle Fork Payette River. There is fishing for Rainbow Trout and Whitefish in the river. There are several hiking and ATV trails in the area including the Middle Fork Trail. Wildlife present in the area includes deer, elk, and bears.

Best Time To Visit: Trail Creek Campground is open May through September.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Trail Creek Campground from Boise travel northeast State Highway 55 to the Banks-Lowman Road. Take the Banks-Lowman Road east to Forest Road 698, on which travel north for about 17 to reach the campground.
