Thorn Creek Reservoir provides excellent fishing opportunities through mid-summer and is open to non-motorized craft only. Primitive camping and restrooms are available in this area surrounded by desert vegetation types distinctive of the Great Basin including sagebrush and grasslands among rolling hills. In the spring and fall waterfowl and shorebirds make their homes at the reservoir.

Facilities: Thorn Creek Reservoir provides a boat launch and restrooms.

Reservations: Thorn Creek Reservoir does not require reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Thorn Creek Reservoir is open daily during daylight hours.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: Handicap accessibility is not provided.

Rules: No motorized watercraft on the reservoir.

Directions: To reach Thorn Creek Reservoir from Twin Falls start out going west on Addison Avenue toward US-93 for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Blue Lakes Boulevard. Continue to follow US-93 North for 5.7 miles. Merge onto I-84 West via the ramp on the left for 4.7 miles. Take the ID-79 exit-168 toward Jerome for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto ID-79 North for 2.3 miles. Turn right onto East Main Street for 0.1 miles. End at Jerome.
