Thompson Flat Campground is set on a lake surrounded by fir and pine trees. Visitors can fish for planted trout. Deer and elk reside in this area. Hiking, mountain bike, and Nordic trails are nearby. Horse facilities and self-guided trails are located just outside the campground. There are 20 sites and maximum spur of 60 feet.

Facilities: Thompson Flat Campground provides drinking water, restrooms, and horse facilities.

Reservations: Thompson Flat Campground does not accept reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Thompson Flat Campground is open June - October.

Fees: A campsite fee is charged.

Accessibility: Handicap accessibility is not provided.

Rules: There is a 14 day maximum stay.

Directions: To reach Thompson Flat Campground from Burley start out going north on Albion Avenue toward East 13th Street for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto East Main Street. Continue to follow I-84 for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto ID-81 for 7.7 miles. Turn right onto Clark Street to follow ID-77 for 8.8 miles. Turn left onto Main Street for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto 800 East North Street for 0.1 miles.

From Albion, go southeast on State Highway 77 for 5.5 miles to the Forest Route 549. Go west on 549 for 7.5 miles to Thompson Flat Campground.
