Steel Creek Campground is a reservation only group site that is located in a mixed conifer forest with Douglas Fir, Lodgepole Pine, and Snowberry Bushes. There is good fishing in the area. Wildlife present includes Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, elk, moose, bears, mountain lions, Golden Eagles, and Osprey.

Facilities: Steel Creek Campground provides restrooms and drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are required for Steel Creek Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Steel Creek Campground is open June through September.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Steel Creek Campground from Idaho Falls, travel north on Interstate 15 to Spencer. From Spencer go north on County Road about 4 miles to Forest Road 2. Take Forest Road 2 west about 1 mile to Forest Road 6. The campground is about 13 miles east of Forest Road 2 on Forest Road 6.
