Six Mile Campground is located among the pine trees on the Six Mile creek. Fishing is available on the creek. This campground is the home to a lot of wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, bears, wolves and moose in the area. Supplies are available 24 miles out of the campground in Elk City.

Hunting is allowed when in season. This campground tends to be popular on the weekends in the summertime. The maximum spur is 20 feet long. There are 2 single sites available at the campground. Visitors can gather their own firewood. The firewood is found locally.
