Salmon River Campground is situated in a meadow among mixed pine and sagebrush. It is set on the banks of the Salmon River. Steelhead fishing is exceptional at the lake. All visitors wanting to fish must check local regulations. There are 30 sites and the maximum spur is 30 feet.
