Rattlesnake Campground is located in an open park-like area of fir and pine on the Middle Fork Payette River. The river offers fishing for Rainbow Trout and Whitefish; there are also numerous ATV, hiking, mountain bike, and horse trails in the area. Some of the wildlife in the area include deer, elk, and bears.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Rattlesnake Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Rattlesnake Campground is open May through September.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Rattlesnake Campground from Boise, travel northeast on State Highway 55 to the Banks-Lowman Road. Take the Banks-Lowman Road to Forest Road 698. Go about 18 miles north Forest Road 698 to reach the campground.
