Poet Creek Campground is located among the pine trees on Poet Creek and Montana Road. Fishing is available on the creek. Supplies are available 30 miles out side of the campground in Elk City. The Montana Road is world renowned but, often difficult to drive.

This campground is the home to a lot of wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, bears, wolves and moose in the area. Hunting is allowed when in season. This campground tends to be popular on the weekends in the summertime. The maximum spur is 15 feet long. There are 4 single sites available at the campground.
