Picnic Point Campground is located in Ponderosa pines on a rocky point overlooking Warm Lake. There is trout fishing by boat or shore on the lake. Some of the wildlife present in the area include deer, elk, bears, moose, raptors, and waterfowl.

Directions: To reach Picnic Point Campground from Yellow Pine, travel south on Forest Road 413 to Forest Highway 22, on Forest Highway 22 travel west to Forest Road 489. Take Forest Road 489 about 2 miles southwest to reach the campground.
