North Fork Slate Creek Campground is located in the fir trees on the Slate Creek. Fishing is available on the creek. This campground is the home to much wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, bears and moose. Hunting is allowed when in season.

This campground tends to be popular on the weekends in the summertime. The North Fork Slate Creek trailhead is located near the campground. The access road is not suitable for trailers. The maximum spur is 20 feet long. There are 5 single sites available at the campground.
