North Fork Clearwater River has private lands that are located in the headwaters of a few tributaries upstream of Dworshak Reservoir. With the exception of the private lands, a few drainages in the lower and upper portions of the drainage, the majority of the North Fork is located on road-less areas. There are popular catch-and-release fishing sites located in the Kelly Creek and Cayuse Creek drainages.

Facilities: North Fork Clearwater River provides many camping opportunities on the in developed campgrounds including Aquarius, Washington Creek, Weitas, Noe Creek, Kelly Forks, Hidden Creek and Cedars.

Best Time To Visit: North Fork Clearwater River is open yearlong.

Fees: Camping fees may be charged at campgrounds surrounding the area.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Anglers need to consult IDFG regulations to determine which streams have special regulations, such as wild trout limits and catch-and-release fishing.

Directions: To reach North Fork Clearwater River from Nezperce, take Pine Road approximately 2 miles to Russell Ridge Road. Take Russell Ridge Road 6 miles to Greer Grade Road. Take Greer Grade Road 5 miles to US-12. Take US-12 approximately 12 miles to 138th Street.
