Morrison Knudsen Nature Center offers a view of the Boise River's underwater world; this unique and interesting center allows visitors to see what happens under the rippling surface of a river. The Nature Center's outdoor nature walk and indoor visitor center prominently display the many landscapes and abundant wildlife of the area. Activities include a series of underwater viewing windows along the Center's stream walk. Local educational events also feature habitat demonstration areas that focus on how people can attract and enjoy wildlife in their community by providing adequate, diverse habitats.

Directions: To reach Morrison Knudsen Nature Center from Boise take west Grove Street toward south 6th Street Follow it for 1 mile. Turn right onto south 6th Street Follow it for 1 mile. Turn left onto US-20 east. Follow it for 6 miles. US-26 east becomes east Park Boulevard. Follow it for 4 miles. Turn left onto south Walnut Street Follow it for 1 mile. The driver will end at 600 South Walnut.
