Mormon Bend Campground is situated in meadow among lodge pole pine and sagebrush. The Salmon River resides nearby; fishing is available. Campers can find supplies and firewood locally. Deer, elk and coyotes reside in the area as well. There are a total of 15 sites with a maximum spur length of 20 feet.
