Middle Fork Clearwater River has private lands that are intermingled with the USFS lands, especially downstream. The Middle Fork Clearwater River flows along US highway 12 and provides anglers with easy access. Anglers can fish for naturally-reproducing fish in a small number of tributaries on the Forest and USFS lands within the Nezperce National Forest to the south.

Facilities: Middle Fork Clearwater River provides Wild Goose Campground, located 20 miles east of Kooskia on US Highway 12.
