Leggett Creek Campground is located among spruce and fir trees on South Fork Clearwater River. Fishing is available on the river. This campground is the home of a lot of wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, moose and bears. Hunting is allowed when in season. Supplies are available 13 miles out of the campground in Elk City.
The campground tends to be very popular on holiday weekends. The maximum spur is 20 feet long. There are 6 single sites available at the campground.
