Lake Walcott is located at the northwest end of the Bureau of Reclamation's Lake Walcott Project, a welcome refuge on the edge of Idaho's high desert. Water skiing, power boating, windsurfing, sailing and bird watching are only a few of the activities that will make visitor's stay at Lake Walcott enjoyable. Camping areas with RV hookups are available. Picnickers enjoy the acres of grass beneath groves of stately eastern hardwoods.

Directions: To reach Lake Walcott from Burley, start out going north on Albion Avenue toward 13th Street for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Main Street. Continue to follow I-84 for 4.2 miles. I-84 becomes ID-24 west. for 4.7 miles. Turn left onto Oneida Street. Continue to follow ID-24 for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Meridian Road. for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Read Avenue. Continue to follow ID-24 for 5.7 miles. Turn slight right onto 400 north. Continue to follow 400 North for 5.3 miles to 959 East Minidoka Dam.
