Kings Pass-Sunset Peak Trail #151 is at a cumulative elevation of 3,105 feet. The route length of the trail is 6.5 miles (one way). The difficulty level has been established as moderate, and it receives light usage. Restrictions state that only single track motorized vehicles may travel on the trail with hikers.

This trail combines the Pony Peak Trail #147 with Trail #151. When starting from the lower trailhead, visitors will pass through a timbered area until reaching Pony Peak and then following a long, grassy ridge that offers a beautiful panoramic view of the area below. Sunset Peak is the site of an old abandoned lookout on top of a rocky ridge. No water is available along this trail.
