Idaho Centennial Carousel/ Porter Park

Idaho Centennial Carousel/ Porter Park is the home of a carousel that is one of the last carousels of its kind. It was built by the Spillman Engineering Co. in 1926. It is the only restored, authentic wooden carousel in Idaho. Restoration on the old carousel began in 1985 and it was reopened in 1990, Idaho's centennial year. The carousel is located in Porter Park which also has a water slide open in the summer.

Directions: To reach Idaho Centennial Carousel/ Porter Park from St. Anthony, start out going west on Main Street to Bridge Street/US for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Bridge Street/US for0.2 miles. Merge onto US-20 west for 11.9 miles. Take the ID-33 ramp toward Rexburg for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto west Main Street for 0.9 miles. Turn left onto north 3rd west for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto west 2nd Street for 0.1 miles to 250 west 2nd north.
