Grouse Campground is situated among spruce and pine on Goose Lake. There is fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout in the lake. There is also an on-site trailhead. Wildlife in the area includes black bears, mountain lions, wolves, coyotes, deer, elk, moose, and bald eagles.
Twenty-two sites are available.

Facilities: Grouse Campground provides restrooms and drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Grouse Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Grouse Campground is open July through October.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Grouse Campground from New Meadows, travel east on State Highway 55 about 6 miles to Forest Road 257. The campground is 11 miles north of State Highway 55 on Forest Road 257.
