French Gulch Campground is located in the logepole pines on the Red River. Fishing is available on the river. The campground is home to a lot of wildlife. Visitors might see deer, elk, bears, and moose in the area. Hunting is allowed when in season. Supplies are available 8 miles away from the campground in Elk City. Visitors can enjoy historical sites that are near the campground. This campground is a very popular spot on holiday weekend in the summertime.
