Corral-Stewart Trail #70 reaches a length of 9 Miles. A difficulty level of easy to moderate has been established. The trail's beginning is at access #1 north of Corral Creek Burma Road #142. Access #2 begins at the Stewart Canyon Trailhead at the end of Road #516. A cumulative elevation of 7,900 feet is reached.
At the start of this trail the visitor will note flat ground dotted with sagebrush. On the right is Corral Creek populated by beaver building their dams. After about 1 mile the terrain begins to include scattered fir trees and red shaded Cabin Mountain and Redbird Mountain come into view.
At the head of Corral Creek the visitor can turn to the right and at the base of the two mountains will find Corral Lake. Continue over the top to find the head of Stewart Canyon and see limber pine and the White Mountain Range to the right. The trail down passes a small pond surrounded by meadows and continues to wind down through the limber pine to the old mining road. This area is populated not only by deer, but mountain lions and bears.
