Clearwater Historical Museum allows visitors to view collections that focus on the people and history of Clearwater River Country and its environs including Clearwater County and parts of Lewis, Nezperce, Idaho and Shoshone counties.
Clearwater Country (the drainage of the Clearwater River) has a rich legacy that started before history was recorded. This museum features artifacts relating to the Nezperce People, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, gold mining, the Chinese in the gold fields, early homesteading, logging and much more.
