| Buckhorn Campground is situated beneath a closed canopy of mixed conifer on the South Fork of the Salmon River. There is fishing for trout, whitefish, and Chinook Salmon in the river. Wildlife in the area include black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, deer, elk, osprey, and bald eagles. Ten sites are available. |
