Box Lake Trail is 3.5 miles long an has an elevation gain of 1863 feet up a ridge then a 343 feet drop down to the lake. The trail follows Black Lee Creek and crosses it several times. The trails difficulty is rated at moderate and is not recommended for children because of its steepness and loose rocks.
