Boise River - Middle Fork leads from Lucky Peak Reservoir past Arrowrock Reservoir and finally along the Middle Fork of the Boise River for over 60 miles to the mining-era town of Atlanta. Camping and fishing opportunities and hot springs are the main attractions on this river journey. Rainbow and cutthroat trout and whitefish are the species caught here. Endangered bull trout are also in the Boise River but must be released.

Reservations: Boise River - Middle Fork does not accept reservations.

Directions: To reach Boise River - Middle Fork from downtown Boise, start out going south on north 15th Street toward west Sherman Street. Turn right onto west Fort Street, and left onto north 16th Street. Turn left onto west Main Street. Turn right onto south 13th Street, and right again onto I-184 west. Continue to follow I-184 west for 4.2 miles. Merge onto I-84 east, exit-40 on the left toward Twin Falls for 0.9 miles. Take the west Overland Road exit-50A. for 0.1 miles. Stay straight to go onto W Overland Rd. for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto south Vinnell Way for 0.2 miles to 1249 S Vinnell Way.
