Blowout Ramp Campground is the second largest boating facility on Palisade Reservoir. The reservoir provides swimming, water skiing, and fishing for rainbow, lake, and cutthroat trout. Wildlife in the area includes elk, black bears, mountain lions, and redtail hawks.

To reach Blowout Ramp Campground from Jackson, travel south US Highway 89 to US Highway 26. Take US Highway 26 northwest to about 8 miles past Alpine to reach the campground.
