Black Rock Campground lies among the ponderosa pines overlooking the North Fork Boise River. The river is stocked, and wild trout in it that can be caught by fly or bait fishing. Wildlife that is possible to be seen in the area include deer, elk, bald eagles, osprey, and bears. Visitors may want to bring bug repellant as mosquitoes are present all summer.
Ten single sites and one group site are available.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Black Rock Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Black Rock Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Black Rock Campground is open June through October.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Black Rock Campground from Boise, travel on State Highway 21 to Idaho City. From Idaho City, go northeast on State Highway 21 about two miles to Forest Road 327. Travel east on Forest Road 327 about 22 miles to reach the campground.
