Bird Creek Campground is set in a fir and pine forest on the banks of the South Fork Boise. This is a rustic campground with no drinking water on site. Campers gather their firewood locally. Campers can also find supplies in Featherville. Deer and elk also reside in the area. There are 5 available sites.

Best Time To Visit: Bird Creek Campground is open May through September.

Directions: To reach Bird Creek Campground from Mountain Home, start out going northeast on east 2nd Street north toward American Legion Boulevard/ID-51 for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto American Legion Boulevard/ID-51 for 1.5 miles. Stay straight to go onto US-20 for 25.4 miles. Turn left onto Wood Creek Road for 9.3 miles. Turn slight left onto NF-61 for 7.9 miles. Turn right to stay on NF-61 for 10.3 miles. Bird Creek Campground is located approximately 5 miles east of Featherville on Forest Route 227.
