Big Bar Campground offers dispersed site camping strewn among fruit trees on the shore of Hells Canyon Reservoir. There is boating and rafting as well as fishing for trout and bass in the reservoir. There are some hiking trails in the area. Wildlife present include bears, mountain lions, elk, bighorn sheep, and bald eagles.
