Barneys Campground

Barneys Campground rests in a grove of lodgepole pine and Douglas fir on the Deadwood Reservoir. Six sites are available. Fish in the reservoir include atlantic and kokanee salmon as well as trout. Some local wildlife that might be observed are black bears, coyote, mountain lions, mule deer, and raptors.

Facilities: Barneys Campground provides restrooms but no drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Barneys Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Barneys Campground is open July through September.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum allowed length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Barneys Campground from Boise, travel northeast on State Highway 21 to Forest Road 579. On Forest Road 579 travel west to Forest Road 555, turn south, and continue to the campground.
