Barber Park is next to the Boise River and is a popular site for summer floating by inner tube, raft, kayak and canoe. Barber Park is the starting point for 250,000 summer river rafters. The park offers picnic areas, parking, natural areas and concessions. Wildlife observation points are located in the natural areas. The best time of day for wildlife viewing is in the early morning and late afternoon hours. Beaver, gray fox and muskrat are also present but rarely spotted.

Turn right onto US-26 west. Follow it for 2 miles. Turn left onto south 9th Street and travel 4 miles to west Royal Boulevard. Follow it for 2 miles to 1104 Royal Boulevard.
